Swed Care Ltd. is a domiciliary care agency that provides high-quality, customer-driven services to people in the community who require assistance and care. Swed Care Ltd.’s mission is to provide Personal Care Services, Support Services, and Practical Services to vulnerable dependent members of the community living in their own homes.

The services we provide are primarily for people of all ages and illnesses, regardless of ethnicity, religion, culture, or colour, but especially for the Elderly and Disabled, those with Learning Difficulties, people with sensory loss including dual sensory impairment, people with mental health problems, children and their families, personal or family carers, the terminally ill, those with challenging behaviour including children, and people with disabilities.

  • To ensure that services are delivered fairly and in compliance with the terms of agreed-upon purchase contracts.
  • In areas relating to their views and diversity, religion, culture, ethnicity or ethnic origin, sexuality or sexual orientation, status, disabilities or impairments, etc., to ensure that each client’s needs and values are respected.
  • To guarantee that services are provided in a flexible and responsive manner, while respecting clients’ rights to freedom and informed choices, as well as their privacy, preferences, and dignity.
  • To recruit, train, and support social workers in order to provide high-quality care.
  • To administer and manage the service as an efficient domiciliary care company, maximising value for money for both the social services department and the service user and their families by making the best use of available resources.
  • To match nominated social care employees as closely as possible to the client’s needs and requirements, while also preserving the service user’s right to alter the social care worker if there is a future incompatibility.
  • Before beginning care (or within 2 working days in extraordinary circumstances), do a risk assessment of occupational and environmental Health & Safety hazards in each new client’s home, and ensure that any areas of concern are properly disclosed to the service purchaser and service user.

  • Ensuring that all care workers successfully complete the three-day induction training programme, as well as relevant qualification checks and CRB, POVA

  • Maintaining effective working relationships and collaboration with service users, stakeholders, and the Department of Social Services.
  • Conduct continuous monitoring of our services, as well as evaluating, updating, and reviewing our policies and work practises on a regular basis.
